While the original EverQuest and EverQuest II are still running, the game’s console edition of EverQuest Online Adventures shut down back in 2012. Still, it’s heartening to see that the game is still getting closer and closer to a playable state after all this time.

How can I play EverQuest for free?

Search the store for Everquest. Click the green, Play Game button on the game’s store page. If you do not have the Steam client installed, you can just as easily go to Everquest.com and download the client. Click the PLAY FREE button in the upper right of the page and you’ll be prompted to create an account.

How do you download EverQuest?

We no longer use discs to install our games. You only need to download and install the LaunchPad, log in, and the game will begin downloading automatically. The LaunchPad will then search and download all available updates and content each time you log in.
