What is ESP-12 module?
ESP-12E is a miniature Wi-Fi module present in the market and is used for establishing a wireless network connection for microcontroller or processor. The core of ESP-12E is ESP8266EX, which is a high integration wireless SoC (System on Chip).
How do you program ESP8266 12 E?
Normally, to program the ESP8266-12E, you have to connect certain pins to each other, and to ground and VCC, and a few of the GPIO pins need to be connected correctly. You then connect the TX and RX pins to your USB-to-serial adapter like the FTDI or CP2102 or similar boards.
How do I connect ESP8266 ESP-12 to Arduino Uno?
What you’ll need:
- Arduino UNO board.
- ESP-12E module (have not tested this on other versions but it might work, give it a try)
- 3.3V power source, don’t use Arduino 3.3V pin.
- jumper wires.
- 4 x 10kΩ resistors.
- a breadboard.
- 2 push buttons (optional but recommended for ease of use)
How to get started with the ESP8266 Esp-12?
Getting Started With the ESP8266 ESP-12 Step 1: Breakout the ESP8266 ESP-12 Onto a Perforated Board. The ESP-12 has a 2mm pitch, which means you cannot access… Step 2: Add Power Supply. Add a power barrel so that you can easily plug in a 5V adapter into your board to power it. Step 3: Make the
