What is KONTAKT start?
WHAT IS KOMPLETE START? KOMPLETE START is a collection of free instruments, effects, loops, and samples. These products can be loaded and played using the KONTAKT 6 PLAYER, REAKTOR 6 PLAYER or KOMPLETE KONTROL software, which are also included in the bundle.
Is KONTAKT start free?
KONTAKT PLAYER is a free application that runs all of our KONTAKT instruments, as well as a large number of instruments from other companies. It’s one of the elements included in the free KOMPLETE START package – download and install via Native Access.
Does KONTAKT have guitar?
It’s not an actual guitar but it comes close (somewhat).
Do you need KONTAKT for Shreddage?
Requirements: KONTAKT (full version, not Kontakt Player) version 5.7 or higher. 1GB disk space. 4GB RAM.
Is Native Instruments royalty free?
All Samples, Instruments and Presets provided by Native Instruments may be used for commercial music production and compositions anytime without any further permission by Native Instruments. In this case, the license and copyright terms of the respective third party are legally binding.

Why does Kontakt cost so much?
1) You are not talking about the Kontakt Player, you are talking about the full fledged Kontakt sampler, which does cost a lot because you get a lot (functionality). The bundled library is really just a free teaser. 2) Garritan has provided a free update to Kontakt Player 2 for GPO owners. KP2 can run on Intel Macs.
