Do you have to make a reservation for Islands of Adventure?
No, Universal Orlando Resort is not requiring reservations for guests arriving at the parks. However, since the parks will have limited attendance, there may be times when the parks reach capacity and additional guests will not be admitted.
Is Islands of Adventure or Universal better?
It really depends. Universal’s Islands of Adventure has slightly more rides than shows, including more thrill rides, as opposed to Universal Studios Florida. It is also the only park with water rides (minus Universal’s Volcano Bay).

There is a combination ticket, that can be purchased, that allows you to freely walk between the two parks. You can also buy individual tickets for the parks separately. Individual tickets won’t let you ride the Hogwarts Express and experience traveling from Hogsmead to London, just outside Diagon Alley.
