I’m not sure how they managed to get away with claiming this as a dual sport tire. The only place the tire worked was on the dry asphalt. This tire is smooth as silk (for a knobby) on the street, however, riding in any type of off road terrain was nothing short of sphincter puckering. Here’s some scary snow action with the MT21.
Which is better the 130 or the 140 Pirelli mt21?
A big question is, which MT21. The 130 is a lot more aggressive than the 120, and the 140 even more so. There are very few places a teraflex took me a 130 or 140 MT21 could not, but the -21 is obviously not a knobby. I’m really happy with my D606 rear but the front likes to wash out on me more than I care.
Is the Pirelli mt21 Trak master a good car?
+1 on the rear Trak Master. Wears reasonable well even w/ some road miles, and sticks very well in mud, rocks, sand, & even pavement. Plus, they’re like $40! I had the MT21’s front and rear on my XT350. They were a little noisy at hwy speed, but not bad for traction on or off-road.
